Braham girls earn top title
KBEK congratulates the Braham Girls Basketball team on winning the State AA Championship for 2010-11!
In winning the title they defeated the defending champs from Minnehaha Academy, Providence Academy and Pequot Lakes, and finished the season at a stunning 31-2! Way to go girls, you have made us all very proud!

Ty Laugerman
East Central Minnesota Sports Celebration a big hit
On January 30, KBEK 95.5 FM hosted a dinner and program featuring veteran broadcaster Ty Laugerman and the KBEK sports and broadcast team.
Andy Beckstrom and Adam Hefty, along with KBEK announcers and personalities, saluted the contributions of Laugerman with a friendly "roast". Ty has been broadcasting East Central Minnesota sports for decades.
The event included a free meal, door prizes and a program with a summary of East Central Minnesota winter sports and future games and competitions.
