Ethan "GameDay Gilman"

Always had a passion for sports, whether it be playing or watching and even listening. I was lucky enough to get a board op role at WCMP in 2016, that blossomed into a sports role, which eventually lead to me becoming the Sports Director a few years later. I grew up listening to WCMP every Friday I could, along with Paul Allen every Vikings game, so being able to be a part of sports in the city I grew up and bring my passion to our entire coverage area is a dream come true!

Andy Beckstrom

My first lasting memory of sports was of the 1991 Minnesota Twins World Series win. I was always a sports fan and very active growing up playing a multitude of sports. I attended Brown College for radio broadcasting and started with KBEK in fall of 2001 as an intern. In October of 2002 I was able to join hall of famer Ty Laugerman for my first game and continued learning from him over the years until he retired. I’ve had the privilege to call games on radio, internet and TV over the last 23 years and it has been an amazing experience to see young people from all over the area grow over time!

If I’m not covering a game, you can typically find me out doing something sports related. I play softball, baseball, and a few different volleyball leagues. I wouldn’t call myself a runner but have run 6 half-marathons, handful of Ragnar’s, and plan on signing up for Grandma’s Full Marathon next summer. I also love watching and attending just about any sport you could imagine. Feel free to come up and say hi!!

Adam Hefty

I have been covering east central Minnesota sports since January of 2008. It’s been a perfect job for me. Even when I was a young kid, I had a fascination with sports broadcasting. I am a Wisconsin kid, so the voices of my childhood could be heard in those press boxes. Legends like Matt Lepay, Wayne Larivee, and the best to ever do it, Bob Uecker. 

It has been quite the ride over the past 17 years. I have seen a lot of success from our local teams with a front row seat. 

I love how sports are a door to our local communities. The support the people and businesses give their teams is inspiring.

Tyler Gustafson

Tyler is currently a student Broadcaster at Bethel University. He has worked as the voice of the Bethel Royals for 3 years and spent summer with the Willmar Stingers. He enjoys everything sports related and he played varsity baseball at Cambridge-Isanti high school.
