A 13-year-old male has died after sustaining injuries in a Chisago County ATV crash on Saturday.
According to a news release from the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received a call shortly after noon about an ATV roll-over on Kale Avenue, off Ivywood Trail in Lent Township.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered the driver near the ATV. He was stabilized by medics on scene before being flown to Regions Hospital in critical condition.
The driver, identified as Mason Lee Demenge of Chisago City, died from the injuries he sustained.
The crash is being investigated by the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office.
Lakes Regions EMS, the Stacy/Lent Fire Department, and Life Link Air Care assisted at the scene.
