Hundreds gathered on Chisago Lake on Saturday to support the Wyoming family who lost their son in a snowmobile crash.
Despite temperatures in the teens, over $50,000 was raised for the family of Alan Geisenkoetter Jr. at the memorial fishing event where hundreds turned out. The event included ice fishing, a silent auction and a raffle.
The 8-year-old died after injuries he suffered when 45-year-old Eric Coleman hit him with his snowmobile back on January 26th.
Coleman was recently let out on bail, but on Friday his bail was increased to $125,000. Coleman has until Monday, February 12th to make the new payment.
