Nathan Nelson Wins Primary Election

Nathan Nelson has won the special primary election.

Nelson was the GOP endorsed candidate going into the race which reflected in the votes. Nelson received 88.4% of the vote or 2371 votes. Ayrlahn Johnson, his challenger for the Republican bid, received 11.6% if the vote or 311 votes.

He will now move onto run against DFL candidate Tim Burkhardt in the March 19 special election to fill the seat in Minnesota's House.
