A deceased male party was found on Isanti railroad tracks on Sunday morning.
According to a news release, Isanti police officers were dispatched to the railroad crossing at Main Street.
A Union Pacific conductor had reported that the train struck a person who was laying on the tracks.
An adult male was found deceased on the railroad tracks between Main Street and South Passage. The body was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
The incident remains under investigation.
