Anglers in Minnesota have until this coming Monday to remove their fish houses from the ice.
Lakes in the bottom two thirds of the state are given until midnight on March 6, while those remaining after that deadline may be ticketed or confiscated.
The boundary is determined by the east-west line formed by Highways 10, 34, and 200.
Shelters may still be used on the ice, but only when occupied and are not allowed to be stored at public accesses.
More information can be found on the Minnesota DNR website.
