Sherburne County will be holding a special public engagement event for residents to attend regarding the future of the Great Northern Trail.
The county has been developing the Great Northern Trail Master Plan to define a preferred route for the 30-mile corridor that extends from Elk River to Milaca. The southmost 9 miles of the trail are already paved from Elk River to Zimmerman, as well as a 2 mile segment through the City of Princeton.
The county is inviting the public out for a special event to voice their opinions or concerns, the event will take place on Wednesday, April 20th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Princeton Great Northern Railway Depot, the event is RSVP otherwise comments can be made thru a survey which will be made available at a later date.
