The city of Milaca is required to implement water usage reduction measures due to prolonged dry weather.
According to a notice from the city, the Milaca splash pad will limit its days of operation from Friday through Sunday.
The splash pad is typically open daily during the summer.
Property with addresses ending in an odd number may be sprinkled on odd number days, and vice-versa for even-numbered addresses.
The conversation measures are due to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources moving the Mississippi Headwaters watershed to the drought warning response phase.
