The city of Braham will be holding a special council meeting next week to discuss changes to the city’s projected 2023 budget.
City staff have been working on a proposed 2023 budget that captures all expenditures and revenues after Braham having gone through almost $1.2 million of reserve funds over the past two years.
The city is already expecting over $80,000 of additional general fund expenditures for 2023, including increasing street maintenance materials, leasing of police radios and vehicles and emergency management items.
The special meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. at Braham City Hall, city residents are encouraged to attend.
