Pine City Long Term Plan

Yesterday the Pine City council were presented with a long term plan for the city.

Council members were informed of the strong overall funds available to the city.

However, financial advisor EHLERS said that the city would need to issue bonds for new roads if that was something that was to be pursued.

Also that the city would need to increase taxes $30 a year over a ten year period to finance required projects and maintain the general fund.

Those numbers include borrowing just over 6 million dollars over nine years.
