A newborn involved in the multi-car crash that took place near North Branch earlier this month has passed away.
One-month-old Hudson Allen passed away at the Children's Hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Dodge minivan and a Mazda sedan were traveling eastbound on Hwy 95 in North Branch Township when the Mazda attempted to make a left turn onto 310th Ave.
The minivan failed to yield and struck the Mazda, sending it into the westbound lane before being struck by an oncoming Toyota Camry.
Twelve people were injured in that three-vehicle crash, including another child under the age of two.
