A fatal car crash in Benton County left one dead and sent six people to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, A Ford Fusion was traveling westbound on Highway 23 at the 13th Avenue North intersection in Foley when it began to cross the centerline.
Another Ford Fusion was traveling earthbound at the time and the two vehicle collided.
The driver of one of the fusions, 55-year-old Bruce Varner of Sauk Rapids was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver and passengers from the two vehicles were all transported to St. Cloud Hospital with ranging life to non-life threatening injuries.
