A fatal car crash took place in Kanabec County early Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, A Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling northbound on Highway 65 in Brunswick Township when it approached the Legend Street intersection.
A Ford Transit truck was traveling south on the highway at the time when the Pontiac crossed the center line and collided with the truck.
The driver of the Pontiac, 29-year-old Rachel Johnson of Willow River, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck was transported to Welia Health with non-life threatening injuries.
