The city of Isanti has started construction on their new archery range which will be an addition to the city’s park amenities.
Back in July of last year, council approved of the project and identified a section south of the dog park as an acceptable location.
The range will consist of 9 lanes ranging in shooting distance from 10 to 40 yards with split rail fencing on the east & west sides and a berm on the south side to create a safety perimeter.
Two light poles would also be added to increase visibility at night for the range and the dog park. The project is expected to be completed before bow season in the fall.
