The Isanti County Board of Commissioners scheduled an interview with human resources director Amanda Usher for the position of county administrator at Tuesday’s meeting.
Usher has taken on the role in an interim capacity since previous interim administrator Chad Struss resigned from the county in July.
She will be interviewed at the board’s Dec. 5 meeting.
The board has been searching for a permanent fixture in the position since Julia Lines left in March to return to working in the private sector.
Usher has been employed by Isanti County since September of 2022.
Previously, she spent a decade working for Anoka County, most recently as administrative manager in the county attorney's office from 2017 to 2022.
