The Minnesota Department of Transportation released their plans for their Highway 23 reconstruction project which is slated to start in May.
The project will look to improve 13.5 miles of Highway 23 from Foley to Milaca, Improvements will include resurfacing and widening lanes, upgrade rumble strips, guardrails, overhead lighting and more.
For the full duration of the project, Highway 23 will be closed to traffic with a detour route planned for Benton County 4/Mille Lacs 12 and Highway 169.
