Mora Volleyball Sweeps Section Foe

A section battle took place on Tuesday night in Mora. The Mustangs volleyball squad welcomed the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels to town. This was a mid season match that could factor into playoff seeding next month. 

Mora came away with the 3-0 sweep over MLWR. 25-18, 25-14, 25-17. Minimal mistakes from the Mustangs once again seemed to be the difference. Jenna Lukenbill was the Pine Insurance Agency player of the game for the Mustangs. She reiterated that their senior led squad hold themselves to a high standard.

Moose Lake-Willow River had some success as well. Keely Alleman was a violent hitter in the front row. When she was able to get a clean opportunity, she made sure to make the most of it.

Next up for MLWR will be a home match against McGregor next Tuesday.

The Mustangs will travel to Hinckley to face the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars on Thursday night.
