Mora hosted International Falls on Monday night.
Round one of the playoffs saw Mora welcome in the Broncos as Mora received the 4 seed in Section 7AA. The Mustangs were certainly looking to erase the sour taste of a loss on senior night at home just days ago.
Right from the tip the Mustangs were dominant. They left no doubt as to how good of a team they were. They were firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball. Their defense allowed only 9 points from the Broncos in the 1st half. Their offense put up 54 points and did so without shooting many three's. The only negative really to be found was the fouls, but they still only had 7.
The 2nd half wasn't a question of them winning, but by how much. But for the team they looked to see how well could they come out and execute with such a large lead. Well the focus and execution was there and they continued to dominate. The Mustangs would go on to win 88-21.
With the win they advance to the section quarterfinals on Saturday. They'll play Aitkin at Duluth Denfeld at 12:30pm.
