Red Bull Military Appreciation

Citizens Supporting Our Armed Forces (CSOAF) is holding an event to honor military men and women.

The 9th Annual Red Bull Military Appreciation Day is an event with a silent auction, food vendors, car show, and concert.

The entire event is free and is put on this Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm at Central Park in North Branch.

Daggett’s Fresh Foods Hits 40

A local grocery store recently hit 40 years serving the community.

Daggett’s Fresh Foods in Hinckley hit that milestone and is having various promotions all week long, including giving away 40 bags of groceries.

The store has been a close knit part of the community over those four decades.

Daggett’s Fresh Foods is located in Hinckley off of old Highway 61.

Arts in the Park in Sandstone

Sandstone is offering residents a chance to get outdoors and enjoy music this summer.

Arts in the Park is an outdoor summer concert with live music and a community art project.

The outdoor concert festival is held Wednesdays in June from 6 to 8 pm at Train Park in Sandstone.

Genealogy in Pine County

A closer look into the historical aspect of Pine County is being offered tomorrow.

Pine County Genealogy is putting on a luncheon at Doc’s Sports Bar and Grill tomorrow in a private room.

After the lunch, Gordy Johnson will share historical information about Sturgeon Lake, including going to the City Cemetery.

The lunch is held tomorrow at 11:30 at Doc’s Sports Bar and Grill in Sturgeon Lake.
