Ingles Sentenced to 25 Years for 2nd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct

A 31-year-old Mora man will spend the next 25 years in prison after being convicted of 2nd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.


Kevin Douglas Ingles was arrested in August of 2018 after Pine County Deputies recieved a report that he had sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl.


According to the Pine County Attorney's Office, an investigation revealed that Ingles had sexually assaulted the victim numerous times and had violated his predatory registration status by not registering while living in Grasston.


Ingles has numerous prior felony convictions, including attempted 3rd criminal sexual conduct in Kanabec County in 2011. On Tuesday, March 3, Ingles was sentenced to 25 years in prison, which is the maximum sentence for 2nd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.


The Pine County Attorney's Office went onto state that the sentencing court recommended that Ingles be civilly committed as a sexually dangerous person after the completion of his sentence.
