Gene Anderson, Representative for the City of Mora and County Districts 1 & 2 on the Kanabec County Board, passed away Wednesday.
Anderson had served on the county board since 2011 and had recently taken up the role of Board Chair. Gene was also the county representative for Mora’s Economic Development Authority.
In a press release, the county said that thoughts and prayers go out to Gene’s family and that Gene’s wisdom, compassion, reason, humor and leadership will be greatly missed by all.
