Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, and Mille Lacs counties have been included in a "Red Flag Warning" from the National Weather Service.
The warning, issued Monday morning, means that the areas included are experiencing critical weather conditions that are ideal for wildfire, including strong winds and minimum humidity values.
The press release went onto ask residents to not burn anything while the warning remains in effect and check any burning done recently to ensure the fire is out.
The Red Flag Warning is set to expire at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 20.
