On November 27, at approximately 04:40 am, Kanabec County Deputies responded to an assault at a rural Ogilvie residence. 2 adult victims that resided at the residence were transported to Welia hospital and transferred to metro area trauma centers in critical condition from injuries of an attack.
A third individual, who is suspected of being responsible for the attack, was also critically injured and flown to a metro area trauma center. That individual is not from the immediate area and no longer poses a threat to the community.
This was not a random assault, and no other suspects are being sought at this time.
This investigation is still in its initial stages. Further details, such as names, will be released when family has been notified.
