Three Twenty Brewing

A brand new brewery with a local flavor is giving residents a sneak peek. Three Twenty Brewing in Pine City is soon to be open to the public, but in the mean time is holding a sneak preview this Saturday. The preview is from 10 am till 2 pm with a food truck from Flagsmash present starting at 11.

Nick and Cassandra Olson run Three Twenty Brewing, and have been encouraged by the community's excitement surrounding the opening..

The brewery gets its name from the local area code, and they intend on having a local focus, as Nick is from Pine City.

Mille Lacs Band Partnership

A joint powers agreement was signed into effect by Pine County and the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

The agreement means Mille Lacs Tribal Police officers can now exercise state criminal law on all Band-owned land Pine County.

The agreement was signed on May 12th at the Pine County Courthouse, with representatives from both groups present.

Triathlon in Grantsburg

The Grantsburg Adventure Triathlon, Youth Triathlon, and Trail run is this weekend.

Saturday, May 13th, from 9 am to 4 pm, participants will bike, paddle, and run through Crex Meadows Wildlife Area, Phantom Lake, and Memory Lake Park. The race is not for the faint of heart, clocking in at 29 miles total.

Tobies Restaurant in Hinckley is hosting a Mother’s Day buffet.
