County Veterans Services Officer Reappointed
The County Veterans Services representative for Pine County was recently re-appointed.
Ben Wiener will be serving Pine County veterans for a second four-year term starting July 30th.
Wiener expressed his gratitude to assist veterans in the county.
He stressed that one of the largest issues facing veterans is hearing loss from their service.
Ten percent of Pine County’s population is veterans, substantially higher than the national average of seven percent.
Zoomobile Coming to Pine City
A zoo on wheels is coming to libraries across East Central Minnesota.
The Minnesota Zoomobile offers a chance to experience a variety of live animals native to the state and learn about ecological concepts unique to Minnesota.
It’s headed to the Pine City Library Wednesday August 10th at 10:30 am.

Braham Pie Days
A popular annual event in Braham is almost here again.
Pie Day in Braham is August 4th with events starting from 7 am all the way through 7 pm.
