Mystery at the Fur Post Draws Statewide Appeal

A Pine City event that has statewide attention is being put on this Friday night.

Held at the Northwest Company Fur Post, the Mystery at the Fur Post event is an interactive drama after dark.

Attendees are given a candle lantern and a list of suspects, and have about two hours to investigate the scene, collect clues, conduct interviews and crack the case.

The event is family friendly and is held this Friday night from 7-9 pm, a ticket link and prices can be found here.

PC for the Arts Gallery New for Friday

The Pine Center for the Arts is featuring a new artist and their works.

Todd Clercx, an artist and teacher, is behind the works of which he says, “honesty is essential”.

Clercx’s exhibit will include portraits, landscapes and paintings of classic cars.

The gallery for his work will open Friday, October 13th with wine, light appetizers, and a chance to meet the artists.

ACT on Alzheimer's Showing Film and Hosting Speakers in PC

ACT on Alzheimer’s in Pine City is hosting an event this Sunday to inform and raise awareness.

Held at the Pine City High School Auditorium, they’ll be showing a documentary called “Every Minute Counts”.

They’ll also be hosting speakers from the Alzheimer’s Association, Fairview, Ecumen, and Pine County Public Health along with informational booths as well.

The event is October 15th in the Pine City High School Auditorium at 2 pm.

Story Time at RC Library

A popular program at the Rush City library is back.

The fall preschool storytime program is a time for kids ages 3-5 who will partake in stories, songs, and crafts to take home.

The theme for October 17th and 18th will be mixed up monsters and will be from 1-2 pm both days.
