The Braham Police Department is participating in a statewide crackdown on impaired driving.
Part of the “Toward Zero Deaths” program, they’ll begin the extra enforcement on November 22nd.
With the holiday season coming up, the department reminds citizens to be extra cautious and always have a sober ride planned.
The Toward Zero Deaths program has a goal of reducing traffic related fatalities to 300 statewide by 2020, a number that's well within reach. The program has already reduced fatalities in Minnesota by almost 100 over last year with little over a month remaining in 2017.
