Many of our area winter sports teams competed in holiday tournaments during the week between Christmas and New Years with others opting to take a week off and practice. This week, we get back to a more normal schedule with two games being broadcasted tonight. You can listen to East Central at Mora Girls Basketball on 100.9 FM and Pine City Hockey vs Sauk Rapids-Rice on 106.5 FM/AM 1350.

Boys Hockey

The Pine City Area boys hockey team took home the consolation championship from the Schwan's Cup this past week in Blaine. The Dragons fell 6-3 to Simley before beating Cambridge-Isanti 4-1 and Princeton 6-0. The Dragons will now face Section 5A opponent, Sauk Rapids-Rice tonight at the Civic Center and celebrate Parents Night.
