The Pine City Dragons girls basketball team recently held a night to raise money to fight cancer.
On January 26th the Pine City Dragons Girls basketball team hosted a “Hoops for Hope” night as a fundraiser for two different places.
The night’s goal was to raise money for The Harbor Room at the Cambridge Hospital and Cancer Kids Fund at Children’s Hospital. Through donations, t-shirt sales, and ice cream sundae sales, the team raised $950 for the hospital and the Cancer Kids fund.
The Dragon girls handled the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars 62-26 that night as well.
