I-35 Snake River Project set for Summer

MnDOT has scheduled a public meeting for a massive road project near Pine City that will take place this summer and next.

The project is a large undertaking, and entails resurfacing 7 miles of I-35 beginning south of Pine City and finishing just past city limits.

On top of the resurfacing project, four new bridges will be constructed at the Snake River, Highway 70, and County Road 7. The I-35 Snake River Project will begin in mid-April, finish in October, with the second leg running June 2019-October 2019. The complete project will cost $30 million dollars.

An informal meeting is being held by MnDOT at the Pine City Library on Wednesday, February 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 on the matter.
