Rush City Begins Search for New Superintendent

This week marks the beginning of the search for a new superintendent for Rush City Schools.

The search comes after the upcoming retirement of superintendent Theresa Dupre, who has served at the school for the last three years. The candidate chosen for the job will enter a tumultuous position after last year’s operating referendum failed and small budget to work with. However, the Rush City community is a determined one that does what it can to support its schools.

In the choosing of the new superintendent, the public is encouraged to have a say in the matter and are invited to certain sessions of candidate interviews to pose questions. The initial presentation of candidates will take place this Thursday, March 1st and the public is invited to ask questions to the potential selections on March 6, 7th, or 8th.
