National Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday with many local locations taking part.
The North Branch Police Department and others have partnered with the DEA to collect unused, unwanted, and expired prescription drugs. Even illegal drugs and narcotics will be accepted and disposed of safely. At North Branch City hall the drop off box will be located in the main doors this Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
Nationwide last year’s April drug take back program collected 450 tons of various drugs.
