A local high school student athlete was honored on April 29th for a statewide award at the National Football Foundation Awards ceremony.
Hinckley-Finlayson Senior Trevor Johnson received the NFL’s Scholar-Athlete award at the Minnesota Football Honors hosted at the Minnesota Vikings' new(ish) home, U.S. Bank Stadium.
Johnson was honored for his academics, football accomplishments, and community service. For the award, only eight scholar athletes were selected throughout Minnesota.
