Not only will the Pine County Attorney’s election be uncontested this fall, but the role of Sheriff as well.
Last week it was confirmed that the only person on the ticket in November is current Sheriff Jeff Nelson. Nelson has served the county since 2015, and if elected will serve his second term in a row.
The duo of county attorney Frederickson and Sheriff Nelson have brought stability and more criminal filings to Pine County since January 2015.
