The Pine City, City Council inches ever closer on a decision whether to renew their lease on the Pine Government Center.
City Council held a special meeting Wednesday to discuss potential renovations for the building.
Renovation plans for the space is the big thing holding up the council; however, all discussions between council members point toward them signing a long-term lease with Pine County.
The next step for the council is to reach out to contractors to survey the building in order to create a potential floor plan for new council chambers as well as updates to the building.
Discussions about the lease and renovations will continue at the next council meeting.
