A bicyclist is in life-threatening condition after a crash Thursday night in Chisago County.
According to the state patrol incident report, a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling southbound on Highway 61 in Wyoming at about 8 p.m.
The bicyclist, identified as 46-year-old Harris resident Tony Lachapelle, crossed from the west to the east on 264th Street.
The driver of the Nissan, a 72-year-old Stacy man, attempted to avoid the cyclist, but struck him.
Lachapelle was taken to Regions Hospital.
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office and Wyoming Police Department also responded to the scene.
