A woman was sent to the hospital after the car she was riding in was hit by a tire Friday.
A Chevy cobalt was traveling northbound on I-35 near Pine City when it was hit by the rear drivers side tire of a GMC Sierra that was traveling southbound.
The passenger of the Cobalt was taken to Sandstone Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported due to the collision.
