Less than a week after a meeting was held to inform the public that a Level 3 predatory offender was living in Cambridge, 35-year-old Thure John Holmberg is back in custody.
The Isanti-Chisago County Star reports that Holmberg was arrested on November 14 by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office for a parole violation.
Holmberg began living in the Cambridge area in early November after he was released from a Connecticut prison.
Holmberg has a history of criminal sexual conduct convictions involving teenage females dating back over 10 years.
It was last reported that he has been transferred to the Isanti County Jail to await a court appearance.
