Authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was shot near Hinckley.
According to the Pine County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened just before 3:00 p.m. on Saturday while the victim was driving his car on Little Sand Creek Rd.
A witness reported that the victim had been fighting with 60-year-old Allen W. Hasser. When the victim tried to leave, Hasser fired multiple shots from a handgun, hitting the victim in the shoulder and striking their car.
The victim was later met by law enforcement and airlifted to Duluth hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Pine County deputies were assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol and DNR in searching the suspect’s property for him.
As of now, Hasser has yet to be found.
