UPDATE: Eric has been found safe.
The Cambridge Police Department is searching for a missing 15-year-old who was last seen on June 29.
The parents of Eric Noel Peterson said he was last seen around 3:00 a.m. and had left a note saying he would return on July 16.
According to authorities, Peterson left with camping gear and is believed to be riding a mint green Bianchi bike with a rack on the back. He was carrying a small burnt orange backpack with him; however, it is unknown if he had water or other provisions with him.
Eric was believed to be heading toward Iron River, Wisconsin for the Rainbow Family Gathering.
