A four-vehicle, "chain reaction" crash in North Branch has killed a 58-year-old North Branch man.
According to a State Patrol report, the crash happened at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 95 and 392nd street.
A Dodge Ram was traveling westbound on the highway when it rear-ended a Chevy Cruze, pushing it into oncoming eastbound traffic, and causing the Cruze to strike a Honda motorcycle. The Dodge Ram then continued and collided with a Honda Fit.
The driver of the motorcycle, 58-year-old Larry Cooper of North Branch, was killed.
The driver of the Dodge Ram and the Chevy Cruze were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
