Update: A suspect in the Cassidy Restaurant armed robbery was arrest by Baxter Police on August 14. No name will be released until formal charges have been issued in Pine County.
The Pine County Sheriff's Department is looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery of the Cassidy's Restaurant in Hinckley.
Law enforcement says they received a report of the robbery on Tuesday, August 13 at 2:09 p.m. The caller reported a male with a gun had taken money from the cash register and fled west toward the Family Dollar on Fire Monument Rd and then south on Oak Ave.
The suspect is described as a black male with curly hair wearing a bright blue long sleeved-shirt and dark-colored pants. The suspect showed a handgun and is considered armed.
Sheriff's Deputies and K-9 along with State Troopers have searched several homes in the area but have not located the suspect.
