Isanti City Council Member Paul Bergley is facing a charge of fifth-degree domestic assault after authorities were called to a residence on Sunday, October 13.
In a story published by the Chisago-Isanti County Star, Isanti Police arrested Bergley after receiving a call about an alleged domestic around 1 p.m.
The Council Member had an arraignment hearing on Monday, October 14, and he was released on the conditions that he must remain a law-abiding citizen.
Bergley is scheduled to be back in court on November 8.
