North Branch faced off against Proctor in the 7AA section volleyball championship game at Cloquet Middle School.
North Branch struggled some to find their groove in the first set. They managed to get on track before Proctor made a comeback and won set one 25-21. North Branch won set two 25-18. North Branch had all the momentum in the third set but Proctor had one last run to try and mount a comeback. Proctor made the third set interesting but North Branch came out on top 25-23.
North Branch is now back-back-back section champions. North Branch will move on and play in the state tournament starting on Thursday night at the Xcel Enegry Center.
