A man is ok after falling through the ice while fishing near Cambridge Saturday evening.
According to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office, the fisherman was about 30 yards out from the shore on Skogman lake when he fell through the ice.
He managed to get himself out of the water before responders could arrive, and other than being wet and cold, the man appeared to be ok.
In a post made to social media, the Isanti County Sheriff's Office said, "Folks, it is not even close to safe to venture out on the ice, it is, however, a safe bet you will go through any ice we currently have on area lakes."
