At least one person is dead after a Thursday morning crash in Kanabec County.
According to the State Patrol incident report, a Ford Fusion was traveling east on Highway 27 in Ford Township just before 8 a.m.
The vehicle collided with a Peterbilt truck that was heading south on Highway 65.
The driver and passenger of the Peterbilt were treated at Welia Health with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 35-year-old Ogilvie woman Candace Berglund, died in the crash.
A 16-year-old passenger, also of Ogilvie, was sent to Children’s Hospital Minneapolis with life-threatening injuries.
The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office, Welia Ambulance, Isle Ambulance and Fire Department, North Air Care, and MnDOT responded to the scene.
