Braham Area Schools and area law enforcement officials investigated rumors that circulated about potential safety concerns in the district on Monday morning.
According to superintendent Ken Gagner, the district was made aware of the rumors late last week. They were investigated by authorities and found to not be credible.
The district has been in contact with local police departments about the rumors for the past several days.
Gagner said the district takes all threats seriously, and has a comprehensive safety system in place that is reviewed on a regular basis.
