With candidate filings closed for the November elections, residents in Braham will have several candidates to choose from for multiple city positions.
The 2-year mayoral seat is up for election this year, with current Braham mayor Patricia Carlson expected to face off against Nate George.
Two council member seats, each with 4-year terms, will see current councilors Vicky Ethen and Robert Knowles run against Peter DuVernay, Nicole Peltz and Michael Wachs.
Interim Councilmember Jeremy Kunshier was the only resident who registered for the special election that is also being held in November, to finish out the remainder of former council member Davis’ term which will run for 2 years.
General Elections will be held on November 8th.
