The Braham City Council has selected Tyler Treichel as the city’s new administrator during a special session on Wednesday.
Treichel currently works for Stearns County as a risk manager.
According to interim city administrator Linda Woulfe, he has a masters degree in Public Administration and has worked in the public sector for over 20 years.
The council held interviews with two finalists at Wednesday's special meeting.
The second candidate was Richard Baker, who works as the development services coordinator in the city of Plainview.
Woulfe said Treichel’s likely start date is Nov. 6.
